New York, NY, April 4, 2002 --- DoubleClick Inc. (NASDAQ: DCLK), the
leading digital marketing solutions company, today announced a new
multi-year agreement with Terra Lycos (NASDAQ: TRLY and Madrid Exchange:
TRR), the largest global Internet network. Under the terms of the
agreement Terra Lycos will continue to leverage DoubleClick's DART for
Publishers service to serve online advertising on its global network of
Web sites, achieve significant cost savings and deliver a seamless
experience to its global advertising clients.
Prior to the merger of Terra and Lycos, which formed Terra Lycos, both
individual companies were long standing DoubleClick customers, and this
renewed DART for Publishers agreement is a reflection of the importance
of this relationship to both Terra Lycos and DoubleClick. The extended
relationship will allow Terra Lycos, DoubleClick's largest customer, to
leverage the investments made in DART infrastructure and product
enrichment, and further establishes DoubleClick as a global advertising
technology provider.
